Target Audience: All personnel with responsibility or authority to decide on specific maintenance of traffic requirements to be implemented on state roadways, including (a) the engineer responsible for the work zone traffic control plan development, and (b) the work zone traffic control supervisor
The Florida Transportation Technology Transfer (T²) Center is an approved provider for the Florida Department of Transportation Advanced Maintenance of Traffic Course.Personnel who successfully complete the Advanced MOT Training Course will receive FDOT recognized certification, valid for four (4) years, to perform work zone traffic control planning, design, implementation, inspection and/or supervising the selection, placement or maintenance of traffic control schemes or devices in work zones on the State Highway System in accordance with the Florida Department of Transportation Specifications 105-5.3 and 102-3.2.
One year experience in work zone traffic control or responsible for work zone traffic control plan development is required.

- $295 per person,
for public agency personnel.
- $395 per person,
for private agency personnel.
- Course Length: 20 hrs
